No. The truth is, Lineup Genie works at our command. We create the language models, the risk-analysis, and we simply us AI to speed up the results, giving you answers in minutes, rather than hours it would normally take you. We still put a shit-ton of work into this to make it work for real coaches.

Yes and no. Sabermetrics (the combination of statistics and analysis) has shown that old metrics such as RBIs and Batting Average are not as effective in predicting future performance as are OBP, OPS, and slugging.

During testing in the Fall of 2023, I said to my assistant coach, “I’m thinking of using this new AI tool with a lineup recommendation, except, it says #7 should lead-off.”
